It would be remiss of me to create a blog and not introduce our two Siberian Husky puppies. As I have mentioned previously, they are named Belle and Sebastian after the eighites TV show as opposed to the Scottish band.

Belle (two years old) , the black one, has a beautiful face that hides the mischievous puppy within. She loves to sniff new sniffs, to munch on chihuahuas and to run and run and run. Belle is also just a little bit inbred which is why she is unnaturally fluffy.

Sebastian (one) is our dopey and loveable boy. He loves everyone (including chihuahuas!) and just loves to be cuddled. He loves to dig holes and then to sleep in them.

They both love mince pies, walking in Newtown and to meet their friends at the Ingleburn/Minto Dog Park! The puppies have various names including: "One Twos", "PD's" and "Big Head and Long Nose".

It was wonderful to travel overseas last year however I did miss the usual relaxing trip down to "the South Coast". It's always beautiful and always refreshing whether camping or a a schmick day-spa. Here's just a glimpse...
I think Lib took most of these.

Tough Day at the Office

Greatest game in the world? Cricket... worst thing in the world? Losing the Ashes only 12 months after winning them. I've been a bit cricket mad over the past few weeks and here's one or two of my favourite shots (sorry AP and DC!)

Yeah it's a lot of photos... Well if Europe wasn't so damn pretty

Okay one or two (or three more)

Okay, you're getting the idea; We had a stack of fun practising our language skills; (Wo ist mein Frau?), Seeing the stunning scenery and striking architecture and sampling the local fare (gluhwein- warm spiced wines- was a favourite on a cold day). So many things to show and tell so here's a final (ish) sample...

Uber-snow

I'm hiding behind one of the many sculptures beside the Thames, whilst Lib's friend is a Viennese Elephant.

More from our random travels in Europe! In Grunau we experienced our first "Uber-snow"... We spent a couple of nights in a seedy Youth Hostel where dozens of locals got snowed in and decided to pass the time with an all night Austrian "Uber-bender" . Not much sleep that night...

Ice Magic II

As you may have picked up, one of the highlights of our trip was the chance to snowboard in Austria and Switzerland. The scenery was quite something and from the top of Leysin one can, apparently, see nine countries... Maybe three. These photos are all taken in Leysin. The golden tint was simply taken through my Carrera Snowboard Goggles... A "Hayden-eye-view" if you like!

Ice Magic

Last Christmas Libby and I enjoyed a jaunt round Europe...
It was as fab as it was freezing. We had a chance to see famous places, visit family and fit in a bit of snowboarding. Really can't complain.

The first image is taken from the ferris wheel in Vienna on day two of our trip.
The second is taken across a section of the Vltava in Prague.
And the final shot was in Western Austria in a wonderful little town caled Zell Am See (It's between Salsburg and Innsbruck).

Blog: "A whole world of me"... Creepy

Hey all, welcome to my blog.
This is pretty much just a chance for me to share some of the pretty things that I have seen and the pretty people that are important to me.
I'm originally from England but now live in Sydney with my fab wife Libby and our two puppies Belle and Sebastian (think eighties cartoon not the band). I enjoy eating tasty treats, playing (and watching and talking about) cricket, walking with the puppies and hanging out with Lib and our good looking friends. If I'm honest I kinda like shoes too.
I'm studying theology (Christianity according to the Bible) and Lib and I go to St Aidan's Hurstville Grove in the South of Sydney.
Anyway, hope this didn't come across as too much like a "singles ad" and hope you enjoy some of posts.

Hayden.
